The key is sterling silver and includes an 18" chain. The lock is sterling silver and includes an 18" rubber cord. They both come with gift boxes. The son gives his mother (or father) the key. The woman he marries will receive the key to unlock his heart.

Today we had our ceremony at church and an hour or so later the necklace came apart where the rubber part goes into the little silver part on the end. Thats really dissapointing especially for as much as I paid for it. I plan on calling tomorrow to see about getting a new one.
